Please add a spreadsheet app
A spreadsheet app with ability to collaborate with others on proton. Also have the option to either store a sheet locally (on device only) or on your proton account to be used across devices. Also, some kind of import system to bring existing sheets into proton sheets.

Seconding and expanding on what Hacksterix commented on April 18 at 12:37 PM (two posts ago)…
Grist Labs' company ethos appears to be compatible with Proton's. With only about 10 employees currently and an estimated annual revenue under a million dollars [cf. https://compworth.com/company/grist-labs], they may be very receptive to acquisition by Proton.
The costs would probably be trivial at Proton's scale—probably just several million dollars, a pittance compared to the savings to Proton in R&D, the extensive value (note that Grist comprises a spreadsheet, a relational database, and much more, all in one integrated package), and the ROI that marrying it into Proton's suite would entail from the avalanche of conversions from Google Workspace defectors.

Critical, will move, also an integrated task system would be great!

You should implement Grist. Python scriptable, a lot of awesome functionalities. We could leave google if we had a European solution.

Collab with LibreOffice?

I've moved to Proton. It's really simple and easy to use. Just missing a spreadsheet then it works as a complete replacement from Google Workspace (for an individual).

I will move from Google to Proton if they will add a simple spreadsheet editor

+1 to this - everyone in my extended family would be collectively making the jump to Proton Unlimited plans if this feature was in place. There's just too much work and family planning tied up in sheets right now, so this feature is critical to us.

Same here. We were about to go all in with Proton today for our company, but backed out in the last second because we don't know how to replace Google Sheets just like that.

I'm trying to leave the Google ecosystem. So far so good, spreadsheet is the last thing tethering me to Google.

I'll echo the many before me; add a collab Spreadsheet appliance. I can forgo a PowerPoint type app, but having a spreadsheet is about all that's keeping me from jumping out of the Google airplane.

I Have a question. Would it be possible to integrate online office solutions like Collabora or Only Office with Proton Drive? At the moment I only see options to collaborate live in a wordcompatible Docs but not in in spreadsheets, presentations etc like we can with GoogleDocs of Microsoft 365? To add a Proton Spreadsheet would be great to start with.

As a crypto trader I have created dozens of sheets to reformat my trades so my CPA's system will recognize them. I cant stand that google/microsoft has access to all the info. We need privacy in everything we do, especially the freedom to transact, don't get debanked.. Thank You.

Can the spreadsheet in Standard Notes be transformed as the starting point?

This is absolutely critical. I am dying for the day I can kill google suite for good. This is needed for that.

This is critical to me, and probably to many other users, as we have our small business data on Google Sheets, and what's stopping me from fully moving over.
If there would be a privacy-oriented spreadsheet app that has the mentioned features, I could get multiple organizations to jump on the whole Proton suite as enterprise customers.

This is one of the only features preventing me from moving fully over from Google. Docs was a great step.

This would be an essential addition to the recently released Proton Docs feature
